Out and About

Well just another fun filled weekend! Saturday we went to visit Aunt Denise & Uncle Dave their house. Sunday we went to lunch at The Outback with Uncle Shah. It is so nice to visit with them outside of work.
Yup, I still put her in Christmas PJ'S. They still fit and I just love them, they are so cute and soft. Carter's clothes are my favorite. If we are going somewhere and don't want her outfit to get messy she will stay in her pj's untill after her morning nap and lunch. Then its dressed and off we go!

Library Day & Aunt Denise!!!

Today was such a busy & fun day! I was so excited to see the library have story time on a Saturday! As soon as the Liberian instructing the class saw Danika, she went on to tell me how good she is and that she is always happy. I guess she is becoming a favorite there. I mentioned how happy I was there was a class on Saturday and she told me she can schedule more classes for Saturdays and I would love that!

I was a little upset at first that Danika kept wanting to crawl away from me and stared at the other moms and babies. But then I thought that is a good thing to want to go explore and be social.

At the end we sang Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star and were giving these props.

I know it would go straight to her mouth and get ripped up. Luckily we didn't have to give them back anyway.

Later on in the day Aunt Denise came over for Christmas! She got a pull phone.

9 month check up

Happy 9 month Birhtday!

Danika! You are 9 months old today, what are you up to these days?
You still have no teeth! And everyday I am amazed at the different you eat without teeth. You love to eat you have had a ton of foods chicken, beef, pork, ham, steak, broccoli, corn, avocados You have done so much this past month. You shake your head no, clap and wave bye bye. You stand up in your crib now and ride in the front seat of the shopping carts like a big girl!

Saturday we went to Trisha's house for dinner and on Sunday went to my favorite mexican restaurant Cozymel's! We met up with Shah for lunch.

These are the only pictures Paul took at story time today. He said the time went by really quickly. I told him he must do better! If I can't be there, then I want to see some good pictures! We shall see how he does next time. Well she is out and able to move around if she wants and now there are babies younger then her that have to be held up, oh I remember those days. But she didn't want to crawl, I am sure by next time she will go exploring.

Today she pulled herself up all by her self onto her little toy table. Paul put her down, turned around for a second looked back and she was standing! He got nervous and sat her down thinking she would do it again so he could watch her, yeah right. I know it won't be long before she stands up in her crib.Doesn't she look so proud!

New Years Day

Happy New Year! We had a great first day of the new year! We went to Joey & Ruth's house for dinner with my parents.
