3 Day Weekend!

So on Friday we had another snow day off from work! Yeah for a 3 day weekend! I love being snowed in and just enjoying our days together.

Happy 10 month Birthday!

I don't really buy her to many toys(clothes are another story!) But she loves my pocketbook so much, I had to get her one or her own. This is her late Valentine's Day, 10 month old Birthday and really really sorry you are sick present!

Sick

Well after 10 months Danika is sick. I was wondering how long it would take for her to get sick. She made it through Paul's being sick for 2 weeks before Christmas. We even wore masks during the day. But low and behold a few months later and Danika has a double ear infection and some 3 week virus called RSV or something that is the cause of the ear infections. So she has a really bad runny nose and cough.I was always afraid of those and you would never know because she still slept through the night. Well the first day or so she did wake up at around 2 or so but I just thought she was having a bad dream. Ha! little did we know. The the next day she was really clingy and would lay and rock with me, which I loved but knew it was only because she was sick. I am glad it was on the weekend so I was able to be there for her. Then today Paul took her right into the doctors without even calling.
Oh I don't feel good at all. I am so sick

Snow Day

Yeah, there was no work today due to massive amounts of non stop snow fall! Oh how I wish I could have every Wednesday off. So we enjoyed a nice quiet day of playing dress up

and just relaxing


and playing lounging around with our slippers on!

Super Bowl!

Danika's first super bowl! Better yet her first time at a bar! Ha not really the bar is downstairs and we were upstairs in a large dining room. But my freinds & I have spent many of nights at The Bulldog and it was so weird going there with my daughter. We went last year as well when I was pregnant, so walking into a bar at 7 months pregnant felt just as weird! We are not big sports fans but it was all about hanging out and getting together with friends and Danika got to meet alot of new people.

Yey! I was so excited to see another library day scheduled today! Although it snowed a little we still went out. Later on Uncle Shah came by and we went to Panera Bread for lunch. Yes all of my friends are her "Aunt & Uncle"

Teeth and Hair

Danika's hair is way long, it has been growing in for a very long time now. Paul says she may need a hair cut soon - no way! But her teeth on the other had have taken their time. For a few weeks now you can feel her gums getting sharper and finally this past week a pearly white has finally popped through! Still not all the way but at 9 and half months old Danika has finally cut her first tooth! I just hope these other teeth don't take that long. She still sleeps through the night and doesn't drool much and I am still amazed at what she eats with just her gums. She is totally off baby jar food, she has been for a while. My mother and I still have a few jars left over, but Danika wants to do it all herself. She doesn't want no stinkin plastic spoon coming at her. So every day the doctor told us to give her this prescribed fluoride, its peach flavored and to my surprise it was free!
